Section of Chase to Close this Week

Dearborn Police have put out an alert that Chase Road will be completely closed Thursday and Friday between Warren Avenue and Henn Street for storm sewer construction.

Drivers are advised to find an alternate route.

Chase between Ford Road and Warren since Feb. 15.

In that area, traffic has been shifted to the east half of Chase and reduced to one lane in each direction. Dearborn Police have also advised drivers to find an alternate route on that part of the street, although Chase is not closed completely until Henn Street.

Construction on the section of Chase between Ford and Warren is expected to last through July and will result in a new water main, new curbs and the resurfacing of the road.
