Recycle Electronics Saturday at Centennial Library

The recycling event is open to all residents of Wayne County who want to drop off TVs, VCRs, computers and more.

Remember that old VCR gathering dust in your basement? The cell phone you ditched when the iPhone 4 came out? Your kid's discarded Game Boy?

Scoop 'em up and bring 'em in.

The Wayne County Department of Public Services, City of Dearborn and Vintage Tech Recyclers are hosting a free electronics-recycling event on Saturday at the . The event will be held from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and is open to all Wayne County residents and small businesses.

Accepted items include televisions, CRT and LCD monitors, desktop and laptop computers, computer keyboards and mice, printers, fax machines, copiers, VCRs,  DVD players, microwaves, stereos, speakers, miscellaneous cables, telephones and cellular phones and game consoles.

Also accepted are handheld electronic devices such as iPods, CD players and Game Boys.
