Who says all dandelions are weeds?

This sweet little kitten who shares the same name is a spunky and fun girl currently available for adoption from the . Dandelion, a domestic shorthair tabby, is 9 weeks old and is currently in a foster home waiting for someone to adopt her. She loves to purr and chase her own tail and will be the most valuable dandelion you've ever found.

And if you're looking to bring lots of love home, Dandelion has several siblings at the shelter, too.

The adoption fee for a kitten such as Dandelion is $55. Adoption fees include a basic medical exam, behavior assessment, age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite and worm check, spay or neuter, microchip ID, travel box, cat comforter and cat care information. An optional, but recommended, combination feline AIDS and feline leukemia test (for cats 12 weeks and older) is an additional $20.

Adopters are also eligible for pet insurance from PetFirst HealthCare at an introductory price of $5 for the first month. The price includes accident and illness coverage with any veterinarian. Adopters must register their pet within 20 days of adoption by calling 866-937-PETS, or visiting www.petfirstadoption.com.
