Dearborn's first-ever kicked off Friday night and continued all day Saturday, bringing the joy of environmentally friendly living to .

The event, hosted by the Dearborn Sustainability Coalition and The Going Green Foundation, included a Friday night film, pancake breakfast, 5K run, vehicle test-driving, swimming and a camp-out.

The CARES festival continues tonight with an open mic talent show and live entertainment, and Sunday morning with a continental breakfast and fun activities for kids.
