Maine Coon Mix is Quite a Catch

It's not every day you find a handsome, affable companion–but Truman, a Maine Coon mix available for adoption now from the –is all that and more.
Though he's an older cat, Truman still has plenty of years of love to give to the perfect family. And with his sweet demeanor and beautiful long-haired coat, he's quite the catch.
Looking for a mix of young and old? Adopt Truman and a friend with the shelter's still-running two-for-one adoption deal. For $25, you can take home two adult cats (over four months old). Or, for $55, take home two kittens.

The adoption fee for a cat such as Truman is normally $90, but has been lowered to $25 to help reduce the large number of cats and kittens at the shelter. Adoption fees include a basic medical exam, behavior assessment, age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite and worm check, spay or neuter, microchip ID, travel box, cat comforter and cat care information. An optional, but recommended, combination feline AIDS and feline leukemia test (for cats 12 weeks and older) is an additional $20.

Adopters are also eligible for pet insurance from PetFirst HealthCare at an introductory price of $5 for the first month. The price includes accident and illness coverage with any veterinarian. Adopters must register their pet within 20 days of adoption by calling 866-937-PETS, or visiting petfirstadoption.com.
