Last Chance: Apply to Participate in Dearborn's Memorial Day Parade

The application cutoff date for this year's parade is April 25.

Looking to take part in Dearborn's annual Memorial Day Parade?

This year, the parade will take place Monday, May 28 along Michigan Avenue and in front of .

Applications from organizations wishing to participate in the parade must be submitted online to help increase the accuracy of information. The application deadline is April 25–no exceptions.

The Dearborn Allied War Veterans Council and parade committee will review all new entries. Upon approval and receipt of the Hold Harmless Agreement, groups will receive a confirmation on the status of their application.

Participation in the parade is not a guarantee for all applicants.

Those interested in applying to be in the parade should go to the City of Dearborn's 2012 Parade webpage, where they will be asked to read over the information and rules and fill out the application.

The city's hold harmless agreement can also be found on that page. The agreement must be printed out, signed and mailed to the city by April 25 at the following address:

Donations for the support of the parade must also be received by April 25, although veterans groups are exempt.
