Fall Back, Dearborn—When Does Daylight Saving Time End?

You'll get an extra hour on Sunday. We have some ideas on how you can fill it.

Feeling like you need some extra sunlight? Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Remember, you’ll “fall back” and set your clocks back one hour. Many electronic devices automatically adjust when daylight saving time begins or ends.

Need some ideas on what to do with that extra hour (besides sleep)?

  • Leaf pickup is under way in Dearborn, as are Public Service Days. If you haven't swept those extra leaves into the street or bagged them, now's the time. Find out when your scheduled pickups are on Dearborn Patch.
  • Check out our Holiday Guide—because like it or not, the holidays are just around the corner.
  • Hear a free organ concert at Church or the Divine Child at 7 p.m.
  • Change your smoke and carbon monoxide detector batteries and check to make sure the devices are in working order.

Arizona, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, U.S. Virgin Islands and American Samoa do not observe daylight saving time.
