Expect Hazardous Weather Friday Morning for Dearborn

There is a chance for 1 to 2 inches of snow accumulation and freezing drizzle.

Dearborn is under a hazardous weather outlook Friday, along with other parts of southeast Michigan. 

The National Weather Service is predicting a burst of snow that will expand northeast across our area between 6 and 11 a.m. The snow is expected to fall in a two- to three-hour period, resulting in 1-2 inches of snow, according to the NWS.

There is also the possibility of freezing drizzle Friday afternoon and evening that may continue through Saturday.

Dearborn can expect a chance of snow after 5 a.m. After noon, there may be rain and snow showers possibly mixed with freezing drizzle. The high will be near 35, with wind gusts as high as 21 miles per hour.
