Esper Branch Library Closing Early Due to Brownout
The public library branch will close at 4 p.m. Tuesday. The library reopened for normal hours on Wednesday.
Update: The Esper Branch reopened for normal hours on Wednesday, July 20. Hours are 10:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
The of the Dearborn Public Library will close at 4 p.m. Tuesday due to a "brownout" power outage.
According to Library Deputy Director Julie Schaefer, a voltage problem causing limited power meant that the building needed to be powered down on Monday. Currently, there is no air conditioning and there are no public computers, prompting the library's decision to close early.

The and branches, as well as the , will maintain normal hours on Tuesday, staying open until 8:30 p.m.
