Dream Cruise Snapshot: Promoting Business With "The Beast"
Dearborn resident and self-proclaimed car nut Peder Blohm uses his truck to show off his business–and his love of classic cars.
Name: Peder Blohm
Residence: Dearborn
Age: 63
Vehicle (make, model, year): 1968 Chevy C 10-Panel Delivery.
Why this car? Blohm has a long history with cars. "I have been a car freak since my teens," he says. Originally from Sweden, he sold American-made muscle cars in the '60s and '70s, and participated in European drag races (and took home a few championship wins).
"I am always involved with cars one way or another," he says.
Blohm refers to his Chevy as the "Beast," and uses it to promote his business, MyNewMarketplace.com. It's "one of 96 made," Blohm says.

What is special about the Dream Cruise? Blohm puts it simply: "The Dream Cruise is the best day of the year."
