Any history-loving mom will love The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, a treasure chest of American heritage and nostalgia. There’s a serious side: the bus where Rosa Parks made her courageous stand and the limousine that carried John F. Kennedy when he was assassinated. But there’s a light side too, with displays about driving across America and even a hot dog-shaped Wiener Mobile. It can be enjoyed by multiple generations.

Other locations Bond admires include the Greek islands, Rouen, France, and Lucerne, Switzerland.
