Dearborn Comerica Bank Branch Hosts Grand Prix IndyCar
The bank will give away piggy banks to the first 100 children who visit the bank on May 21.
Comerica Bank’s Michigan-American Road banking center located at 16150 Michigan Ave. in Dearborn will host a Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix IndyCar on May 21.
The car will be open to public viewing outside of the Comerica office from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Comerica piggy banks will be distributed to the first 100 children under the age of 18 who visit the display, while supplies last. Additionally, Comerica will host students from Henry Ford Elementary School.

“We’re very excited to have the opportunity to host a Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix IndyCar at our branch,” said Paul Larrair, vice president and banking center manager. “With Henry Ford Elementary School right next door, it’s a perfect opportunity for students, as well as the public, to see an IndyCar up close.”
As part of the Chevrolet Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, Comerica Bank is sponsoring Comerica Free Prix Day on May 31, providing free admission to watch the day’s on-track activities, which include IZOD IndyCar Series practice and qualifying, GRAND-AM Rolex Series practice and qualifying, and Pirelli World Challenge Series practice and qualifying.

Fans will be able to visit the paddock and garage areas at the Grand Prix, courtesy of Comerica Bank. In addition, live entertainment will feature contemporary R&B singer/songwriter, Dwele, who will perform on the MotorCity Casino Hotel Entertainment Stage on Friday at 5:45 p.m.
Comerica is sending the students from Detroit International Academy’s robotics team and pre-college engineering program to Comerica Free Prix Day. While at the race track, students will have an opportunity to see the different ways in which engineering technology is applied during a race and will meet the people who have put those skills to work in the racing industry.
