City of Dearborn Hosts Warm Clothing Drive

Donations will be accepted Nov. 8-Dec. 14.

The City of Dearborn Wellness Committee, in conjunction with the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, is hosting a warm clothing drive throughout Dearborn starting Tuesday.

Donations of new or gently used hats, gloves, coats, mittens, scarves or thermal shirts and pants can be made through Dec. 14 at any of the following locations:

  • , 16009 Michigan Ave.: Main lobby
  • , 13615 Michigan Ave.: Residential sales area; third floor, west wing near the Payroll Department; first floor, east wing near Neighborhood Services
  • Department of Public Works Yard, 2951 Greenfield Road
  • , 16301 Michigan Ave.: Circulation desk
  • , 12929 W. Warren Ave.: Circulation desk
  • , 22100 Michigan Ave.: Circulation desk

Items will be donated to the Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries, which has provided a multitude of services ranging from shelter for the homeless to job training for more than 100 years.
