Participants will first be tested for asthma and allergies at the ACCESS clinic in Dearborn. They will then complete a medical history and environmental survey to better understand their history of asthma and exposure to pollution. The participants will then be asked to complete an asthma diary (one page) each week during the exposure period of July to September 2012. All participants will be invited to several “Asthma Education Days” which will be provided to other community members as well.

The UCare case-manager, Ola Saad, will be available to assist the participants in all study activities.
