$1 Million Powerball Ticket Purchased in Dearborn

CVS Pharmacy on Ford Road in Dearborn sold a $1 million ticket in Wednesday's record Powerball drawing.

Dearborn proved a lucky location for the record $587.5 million Powerball drawing.

Some fortunate person close to home matched five numbers—but not the Powerball number—in Wednesday’s drawing to win $1 million.

That ticket was purchased at the CVS Pharmacy on Ford Road in Dearborn, according to a press release from the Michigan Lottery.

Another $1 million ticket was sold in Michigan at East Paris Discount Liquor in Kentwood.

The winning Powerball numbers for the Nov. 28, 2012 drawing are 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and a Powerball number of 6.

Though Dearborn, MI, did not have a grand prize winner, Dearborn, MO, did have one of the two jackpot-winning tickets.

Someone in that city north of Kansas City matched all of the numbers, including the Powerball, and the ticket holder will share the $587.5 million jackpot with another winner in Arizona.
