Bailey Named New Campus President at Everest Institute – Dearborn

Georgianna Bailey has been appointed president of Everest Institute – Dearborn. Bailey will lead all campus administrative departments, including admissions, community and business relations, and student affairs, as well as overseeing educational programs.

Bailey brings more than 10 years of experience in higher education, with a focus on student service, operations and strategic planning. She comes to Everest Institute after serving as campus director at DeVry University in Detroit. 

“Georgianna has shown a deep commitment to higher education,” said Ken Sigmon, regional vice president of operations for Everest Institute. “We’re confident that her strategic approach to educational leadership will both raise the profile of Everest Institute – Dearborn and benefit students and faculty by strengthening our academic community.”

Bailey received her master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix in Detroit and a bachelor’s degree in individualized studies from Lourdes College in Toledo, Ohio. She also has completed a certification program in executive development.

Everest Institute – Dearborn is located at 23400 Michigan Ave. #200. The campus has a wide range of educational offerings, including diploma programs in Business Accounting, Business Office Administration, Business Sales and Customer Service, Dental Assistant, Information Technology Support Specialist, Massage Therapy, Medical Assistant, Medical Insurance Billing and Coding and Patient Care Technician.
