Yasmeen Bakery, no wait Shatila, no... Umm Lebon Sweets, no Golden Bakery... Waittt Sajouna. I cant decide!!!

Golden or Yasmeen. For more continental tastes, I hate to say it, but Panera. Other than that you have to go into Detroit. The Italian bakeries in Dearborn aren't nearly what they once were.

Iversens, hands down. Their cakes are delicious, and with their express shop on Michigan I have to avoid that parking lot for fear of having to buy bigger pants.

Capri Italian Bakery on Greenfield!

Bartz Bakery on Telegraph. Best baked goods (and prices) around!
Willie Batchluppi July 08, 2012 at 05:08 PM
Capri Bakery still means quality, not like DIB. Bartz has to much bread for its pasteries, i.e. their apple turnovers, as there is hardly anything but bread, and very little apple.

Dearborn Italian Bakery gets my vote. Not only is everything home-made but you don't have that greasy after taste like to many I see mentioned above, and we have tried everyone of them.
Cruisma July 08, 2012 at 05:51 PM
Totally disagree. Dearborn Italian Bakery not only has the best products, but the customer service beats Golden & Yasmeen hands down. I've waited forever and even walked out the service is so bad. I see the "Best" as an all-inclusive discription.

Shatila Bakery and Café! Hands down one of the most excellent experiences in Dearborn. Delectable desserts, great atmosphere, and stellar service! For the ultimate in ambiance and heavenly confections, Shatila will leave you feeling like a million bucks (and questioning, “Panera who?”).

Monroe Bakery for sure! I've been going there for years. (The best was when it was one of the bus stops for Stout MS.) The staff has always been friendly. The prices are great. The cherry nut birthday cake is to die for! You can't find a better place for paczki outside of Hamtramck.
