Flight Delay Postpones Darren McCarty's Visit to Dearborn

ValuLand representatives are working with the former Detroit Red Wing athlete to reschedule his appearance.

A flight delay from Florida to Detroit has forced former Detroit Red Wing hockey player Darren McCarty to cancel an appearance in Dearborn.

McCarty was slated to visit the ValuLand store in Dearborn for an autograph session with fans on May 28.

"Unforunately he's not going to make it," store manager Ryan Wingett said. "His flight was delayed and we have been unable to make contact with him as of this afternoon."
