Dearborn Mid-West Company Promotes Engineer

Kurt Theisen of Wyandotte will join the company's Life Cycle Improvement Division.

Dearborn Mid-West Company (DMW) is pleased to announce the promotion of Kurt D. Theisen as a product sales specialist to its Life Cycle Improvement Division.

Theisen began his DMW career in 1994 as a mechanical design engineer and has since held the position of mechanical project engineer/project manager.

His portfolio also includes working for Durr Systems, Inc. in Plymouth.

As a project sales specialist, Theisen’s new role includes selling material handling parts, engineering, lubrication systems, health assessments and maintenance programs to the automotive manufacturing industry.

“I am excited to utilize Kurt’s strong automotive plant industry knowledge, engineering and project management professional skills within Life Cycle Improvement to better serve our clients. (Theisen) is an asset to our growing team,” stated Timothy Rose, vice president of Life Cycle Improvement for the company.

Theisen, who holds a bachelor’s degree in science and mechanical engineering from Wayne State University and an associate’s degree in natural resources from Eastern Michigan University, is also certified in project management professional (PMP), 6-Sigma Green Belt training and advanced product quality planning (APQP).

Theisen resides in Wyandotte with his two daughters.
