These annual awards recognize the best-performing FMCNA dialysis facilities nationwide, based on multiple objective measures of clinical quality.

Fresenius Medical Care has established high standards of clinical quality company-wide, based on those recommended by the Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative (KDOQI) of the National Kidney Foundation. Fresenius Medical Care evaluates facilities for excellence recognition by reviewing key patient outcome measures such as dialysis adequacy, control of anemia, nutritional status, patient satisfaction and transplant education.
