Catholic Bookstore Opens in Dearborn

The store is located on Ford Road near Outer Drive, and sells books, gifts, stationary and more.

Dearborn residents looking to fulfill their spiritual reading needs have a new venue. Catholic Bookstore opened this month at 23305 Ford Road, near Outer Drive.

Originally located in Detroit, owner Dennis Klotz said he jumped at the chance to move his store to the prime Dearborn spot. His store was originally the location of Neighborhood Knits, which went out of business earlier this year.

Klotz, a resident of Dearborn Heights, said business is already going well–especially given that his store is the only specialty book store for Catholics in Dearborn.
