Dearborn Goodfellows Collect School Supplies for Needy Families
Community groups distribute backpacks and school supplies to children at Dearborn Public Schools.

The Dearborn Goodfellows and Community Alliance Credit Union teamed up to sponsor the third annual Dearborn School Supply Drive, collecting donations for distribution to Dearborn students in need.
This year’s largest donor was the Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church.
Volunteers gathered Aug. 29 at Park Place in Dearborn to sort the donations, using the banquet room donated by Gary Kuhlmann.
Anyone who is interested in hosting a collection box for the event next fall can contact Larry Johnson of the Dearborn Goodfellows or Cindy Burgermyer at Community Alliance Credit Union.
