Members of the General Henry Dearborn Quilting Society will present their work along with exquisite historical pieces from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, April 27 from and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 28.
The exhibits will be housed at the 's two locations: the Commandant’s Quarters, located at 21950 Michigan Ave., and the McFadden-Ross House, located at 915 Brady.
The event features three floors of quilts including special exhibits.
Traditional Civil War style quilts by Julia Hall from Bits ‘n Pieces, Renaissance clothing by Velda Kirby and Cloth Dolls by Charlie Patricolo add to the experience.
No baby strollers are allowed. There is also no handicap access to these historic buildings. Admission is $3 at the door.
A quilt raffle will be held for those interested in taking a work home.
