The show includes photographic work from a variety of Michigan artists.

Everything from the Taj Mahal to a wintry scene in Hines Park can be seen in this year's Juried Photography Exhibition, taking place through Feb. 15 at the Padzieski Art Gallery.

The gallery is located within the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center at 15801 Michigan Ave. in Dearborn.

A total of 140 entries were received for the show, 92 of which are posted in the gallery. The entries include black and white, color and digitally enhanced photographs.

According to Dearborn Community Arts Council Director Stella Greene, photos were submitted by everyone from seasoned photographic artists to first-time camera users. Pieces come from all over the state of Michigan, though most are from the southeast region of the state—including some Dearborn artists.

An opening reception for the exhibition will take place from 7-8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 15, and is open to the public. At that time, awards will be presented for Best in Show, as well as the first- and second-place winners in each of the three categories—as chosen by a panel of judges.
