Henry Ford Community College's Radio Station Hosts Benefit Holistic Fair

Prepare to be enlightened. Henry Ford Community College’s (HFCC) independent, alternative radio station 89.3, WHFR-FM, hosts its fourth annual holistic fair, “The Festival of Enlightenment." It will be held from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, March 24, in the Student Services Center, which is located on the main campus.

Several guests will speak on holistic and metaphysical topics. Those who attend may also take advantage of one-on-one access to holistic experts in the area.

Guest speakers include:

  • Noon: Ginger Bridget Wiechers, executive director of Source of Universal Love (S.O.U.L.);
  • 1 p.m.: Dave Krajovik, an enlightenment life coach;
  • 2 p.m.: Barbra White, spiritual teacher and author of “Why Self Acceptance is so Important”; and
  • 3 p.m.  Chrissie Blaze, astrologer, international speaker and author.

Staff member Mike Holloway, host of the monthly WHFR talk show “Metaphysically Speaking,” came up with the idea for “Festival of Enlightenment” as a way to raise funds to support WHFR’s operational costs as well as bring top holistic vendors to the area.
