Dearborn Symphony Home Tour Set for Saturday

The tour will be held in the Shady Hollow Court estates beginning at 10 a.m. May 18.

The Friends of the Dearborn Symphony will host its 32nd annual Home Tour on Saturday.

The tour will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Shady Hollow Court in the Dearborn Country Club Estates and will feature tours of 29 large ranches and two-story renovated, designer-decorated homes.

Visitors can stroll through the neighborhood or ride in a courtesy bus that departs regularly from the Dearborn Country Club, which will serve as the tour headquarters.

In addition to the tour, guests can enjoy a catered lunch and a jewelry and art sale. There will also be a presentation by Patrizia Makahon and Lynn Jovick, Detroit interior designers. The presentation begins at 9:30 a.m. at the country club. A $10 fee includes coffee and pastries.

All proceeds will benefit the Dearborn Symphony concerts, music scholarships and youth music programs.

Free parking is available at Christ Episcopal Church, 120 N. Military St. in Dearborn.
