Beach Boys Tribute Band Coming to Dearborn Saturday

Papa Do Run Run will play at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center.

If you enjoy the music and sounds of the Beach Boys, you won’t want to miss the March 2 performance of the tribute group, Papa Do Run Run, at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, at 8 p.m.

Papa Do Run Run, formed in 1965, toured with legendary surf music legends Jan and Dean in the late 1970s before really hitting their stride by recreating the classic sound of the Beach Boys.

During the next three decades, the group has toured nearly continuously, earned a pair of gold records and a Grammy nomination and endeared themselves to fans far and wide with their high-energy, interactive concerts.
