Young Shar-Pei Mix Up For Adoption in Dearborn

Cassie is available for adoption from the Dearborn Animal Shelter.

Some animals have the kind of face where you can't help but say, "Awwww!" when you see it. Cassie is one of those animals.

A unique-looking Shar-Pei mix, this 13-month-old girl is a rare find from a shelter, and a total sweetheart. She has a short, black-and-white coat and knows basic commands, including "sit" and "shake."

Cassie was intrigued with cats when introduced to them at the Dearborn Animal Shelter, but didn't seem to enjoy other canine companions. She also would do best in a home without children under 12, as she is protective of her food and treats.
