Winter Weather Advisory Issued for Southeast Michigan Tonight

The advisory was issued for Dearborn and surrounding cities in southeast Michigan.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for southeast Michigan from 7 a.m. this morning until 4 a.m New Year's Day.

Snow is expected to fall throughout the evening, with 4 to 6 inches of accumulation possible by Wednesday night. Additionally, drivers may experience limited visibility and slippery roads.

As higher than normal traffic is expected on the roads tonight due to the holiday, the Dearborn Police would like to remind everyone to use extra caution while driving.
