What's Closed on MLK Day in Dearborn?

Dearborn City Hall, the 19th District Court, and all three branches of the Dearborn Public Library will be closed for MLK Day.

Dearborn City Hall, the 19th District Court, and all three branches of the Dearborn Public Library will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

The Dearborn Ice Skating Center and the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center will both be open Monday, though the Dearborn Senior Center will be closed.

Other government offices—including post offices and Secretary of State offices—are also closed on MLK Day, and mail will not be delivered.

There will be no school for all Dearborn Public Schools on Jan. 20. Students from Henry Ford Community College and the University of Michigan-Dearborn will also have no class. Instead, many students are participating in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service.
