Viewfinder: Dearborn Paints–Good Food!
Local artist Janet Kondziela continued her series of live painting on Tuesday at Amani's Restaurant.
Most people visit restaurants to have a good meal. Dearborn artist Janet Kondziela goes to paint them.
Since May 2010, Kondziela has visited various Dearborn restaurants where she stays for a few hours to paint a plate of food made solely for the purpose of art for the Dearborn Paints–Good Food! project. She's been to , , , and many others. She finished her most recent painting on Tuesday at .
Funded by the Dearborn Community Fund and Dearborn Chamber of Commerce, the collection of paintings will be shown at the Padzieski Art Gallery at the in September.
