Carts should be placed on easements if possible. However, if snow is blocking the easement, residents should place carts at the bottom of their driveway, near the street.

Due to the high volume of calls, residents are asked to refrain from contacting the city if their trash and recycling is not picked up just one day late.

If collection does not take place after a two-day delay and they are concerned, they can call (313) 943-2433.
