Public Invited to Commemorate MLK Jr. in Dearborn Jan. 19

The ceremony will be hosted by the Dearborn Area Interfaith Network.

The community is invited to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. this Sunday, Jan. 19, at the Littlefield Presbyterian Church in Dearborn.

The ceremony, hosted by the Dearborn Area Interfaith Network, will begin at 3 p.m.

In addition to inspiring words from Mayor John B O'Reilly Jr. and other speakers, the service will also feature music by the Henry Ford Community College Concert Choir, a joint choir from area churches and other singers.

Speeches will be followed by a time of fellowship and celebration. The public is also encouraged to bring a food item representing their ethnic tradition and culture to share, according to the network.
