Music Under the Stars Returns Aug. 8 in Dearborn

Dearborn's Recreation and Parks Department hosts free outdoor concerts in August and September.

“Music Under the Stars,” the Dearborn Recreation and Parks Department’s free outdoor concert series, returns for another season, beginning Thursday, Aug. 8.

The popularly-acclaimed evening concert series kicks-off its 34th season with the “Funk & Dunk” concert at Dunworth Pool, featuring Junction Groove.

“Music Under the Stars” will also present concerts by the Sun Messengers on Aug. 22, and Fifty Amp Fuse Sept. 5, both at the Robert Herndon Dearborn Hills Golf Course.

All three concerts begin at 7:30 p.m.

Patrons are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.
