Meet Your New Dearborn Patch Editor

Jenny Kalish is the new local editor for Dearborn Patch.

Hello Dearborn! My name is Jenny Kalish and I am pleased to introduce myself as your new local Patch editor.

I came to Patch from Crain Communications Inc., in Detroit, where I worked as an editorial intern for two well-known trade publications, Waste & Recycling News and Plastics News.

I graduated from Michigan State University last December with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, and worked for a variety of news organizations throughout my time at MSU.

When I’m not reading and writing the news, I am usually either spending time with friends and family, making art/music for fun, or lounging at home with my adorable black lab, Arlo.

As your new local editor, I promise to work hard every single day to keep you informed and connected with all the latest local news.  Still, a little help from the community never hurts.

What do you want out of your local Patch site? I want to know about the issues that matter most to you. Don’t be afraid to reach out to me if you have news or events that you’d like posted, or if you’d just like to say hello.

In the meantime, I am looking forward to learning all I can about your community.

See you around town!
