Lydia Offers a Bundle of Fun in a Compact Package

A German shepherd mix, Lydia is small for her breed and full of energy.

Don't let Lydia's breed fool you–she's a German shepherd mix in a compact version at only 35 pounds.

This 10-month-old pup available for adoption now from the is a friendly and clever girl. She already understands how to sit and lie down, and is up for plenty of fun and lots of long walks. So if you're looking to add some exercise to you lifestyle, this is the dog for you.

The adoption fee for an adult dog such as Lydia is $140. Adoption fees include a basic medical exam, behavior assessment, age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite and worm check, spay or neuter, heartworm check, microchip ID, collar and tag plus dog-care information.

Adopters are also eligible for pet insurance from PetFirst HealthCare at an introductory price of $5 for the first month. The price includes accident and illness coverage with any veterinarian. Adopters must register their pet within 20 days of adoption by calling 866-937-PETS, or visiting www.petfirstadoption.com.
