Keep Kelly in Mind For Your New Pet

This black-and-white cat is available for adoption from the Dearborn Animal Shelter.

Kelly is a lovely kitty with a short, sleek, black-and-white coat. She's affectionate and outgoing, and we can just imagine she'll be a wonderful lap cat on these cold winter days!

She's two years old and loves attention!

You can meet Kelly in the Cat Community Center at the Dearborn Animal Shelter. She's ready to take home right away by the right family.

The adoption fee for an adult cat such as Kelly is currently $25. Adoption fees include a basic medical exam, behavior assessment, age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite and worm check, spay or neuter, microchip ID, travel box, cat comforter and cat care information. An optional, but recommended, combination feline AIDS and feline leukemia test (for cats 12 weeks and older) is an additional $20.

Adopters are also eligible for pet insurance from PetFirst HealthCare at an introductory price of $5 for the first month. The price includes accident and illness coverage with any veterinarian. Adopters must register their pet within 20 days of adoption by calling 866-937-PETS or visiting www.petfirstadoption.com.
