Why Go: To celebrate national public lands and great outdoor spaces with Woodsy the Owl, environmental programs, demonstrations and giveaways, a presentation by historic horseback forest ranger and hands-on activities.
Pricing: Activities are free with museum admission. Admission: Free for members and children four and under; $21 for seniors; $22 for adults; $16 for youth (5-12). Parking is $5 per vehicle.

Why Go: The opportunity to hear Terri Lynn Land speak about “The Road for Women in Politics” while honoring 60 years of operation for the League of Women Voters of Dearborn and Dearborn Heights.
Pricing: $25, with registration recommended
Where/When: Camp Dearborn, 1700 General Motors Road, Milford; 8 a.m.-noon Sunday
Why Go: Children and teens ages 3-15 can engage in a friendly fish-catching competition and win prizes for their efforts.
Where/When: ; 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday
Why Go: Enjoy a day of golfing, cocktails and a silent auction while raising money to help bring needy women services like free mammograms, heart screenings, domestic violence shelter and support and counseling for high risk pregnancy.
