Find a Sweet New Companion in Smokey

This 8-year-old lab mix is available for adoption from the Dearborn Animal Shelter.

Smokey has a bit of a sad story.

This 8-year-old Labrador retriever mix was brought to the as a stray, but when his owners were found, they didn't want him.

Luckily, he knows he'll find another great home soon.

Smokey weighs 65 pounds, and has a shiny black coat of fur. He would do best in a home without cats, or children under the age of 12. If you have another dog, it's best that you bring them to the shelter to meet Smokey before bringing your new dog home.
