Community Corner

Interfaith Prayers for Peace

In this time  when our society is plagued by mass murders, hate crimes, and vandalism of houses of worship, people of faith and goodwill need to come together to strengthen bonds of friendship and find ways to pray and work together for peace in our communities, in our nation, and in the world.

Let us come together as neighbors from the Muslim, Sikh, Jewish, Christian and other communities and practice respectful presence as we share the wisdom of our various traditions and pray together.  May we make new friends and leave with greater hope and resolve to meet again and work together for peace in our communities and beyond.

The interfaith prayer service will take place during the regular worship service and will be followed by a time of light refreshments and conversation.
