Dearborn Woman Wins Jackpot at Adult Bookstore

Dianne DeAngelis bought her $239,684 winning ticket at Eddie's Newsstand in Melvindale.

It was Dianne DeAngelis' lucky day when she walked into an adult bookstore in Melvindale, MI., and walked out with a lottery ticket worth almost a quarter of a million dollars.

The Dearborn resident played her Fantasy 5 ticket in the Nov. 16 drawing, matching all five numbers to win a jackpot of $239,684. She purchased her ticket from Eddie's Newsstand.

DeAngelis is no stranger to collecting Lottery prizes. During the 1990s, she appeared on the Lottery’s weekly televised game show, “Road to Riches,” five times. On one of her game show appearances, she was the finalist with a chance to win the grand prize of $50,000. While she didn’t go home with the top prize, she did pocket a prize of $5,000.
