Dearborn Ford Dealership to Host Test Drive Fundraiser for Oakwood Programs

Ford's Drive 4UR Community program will take place Oct. 9 at Village Ford.

An opportunity to test drive a new Ford car or truck will also be a chance to raise funds for a local cause on Tuesday at Village Ford.

The Dearborn dealership will host a Ford Drive 4UR Community program from 4-8 p.m. Oct. 9 at their location on 23535 Michigan Ave., just east of Telegraph Road.

Proceeds will benefit Oakwood Healthcare's Center for Exceptional Families, as well as the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. According to Village Ford, it has the possibility to generate up to $12,000 for the programs.

Participation from the public is simple: Ford provides the cars and trucks, and every test drive at an event yields a $20 donation from Ford Motor Company. As an added bonus, Village Ford owner Jim Seavitt will match Ford's contribution.

No reservation is necessary—just show up and drive.
