Deaf Children Share Christmas Wishes With Signing Santa at Dearborn Mall (VIDEO)

The event invited children from two schools for the deaf to sit with Santa and sign Christmas carols.

One of Christmas' greatest traditions was spread to deaf and hard-of-hearing children in Michigan this month at Dearborn's Fairlane Town Center.

Dozens of students came from the Ralph J. Bunche Academy in Detroit and the Michigan School for the Deaf in Flint on Dec. 6 to meet with a "signing Santa," as well as sing carols with Detroit area deaf hip-hop artist Sean Forbes.

Other children and families were able to meet with the signing Santa the rest of the day.
