Calico-Tiger Mix Available for Adoption in Dearborn

Colette is available for adoption from the Dearborn Animal Shelter.

A little bit calico, a little bit tiger—whichever side of Colette you're looking at, she's a beautiful cat.

At four years old, she has a medium-haired coat and a pretty face with hazel eyes. This kitty is described as loveable, outgoing and ready to find a forever home.

You can meet Colette in the Cat Community Center at the Dearborn Animal Shelter. She's ready to take home right away by the right family.

The adoption fee for an adult cat such as Colette is currently $25. Adoption fees include a basic medical exam, behavior assessment, age-appropriate vaccinations, parasite and worm check, spay or neuter, microchip ID, travel box, cat comforter and cat care information. An optional, but recommended, combination feline AIDS and feline leukemia test (for cats 12 weeks and older) is an additional $20.

Adopters are also eligible for pet insurance from PetFirst HealthCare at an introductory price of $5 for the first month. The price includes accident and illness coverage with any veterinarian. Adopters must register their pet within 20 days of adoption by calling 866-937-PETS or visiting www.petfirstadoption.com.
