Bites Nearby: Miller's Bar

As if Miller's needs any explanation, Dearborn's most famous burger spot is our Bites Nearby focus this week.

Bored with the same old dining out destinations you've been going to for years? Hungering for a new fabulous food experience?

Each week, Dearborn editors and readers will pick a great restaurant either in town or nearby whose cuisine is considered to reign supreme.

Here's this week's choice:

Overview:  Not only is Miller's Bar one of Dearborn's most famous spots, but it might be one of the most famous in all of Michigan. Consistently on the list of the best burgers in the country, Miller's is a no-frills bar with great food.

Drinks: Full bar is available. Drinks are inexpensive. Miller beer is on tap.

Burgers: Simple and to the point. Cheese (velveeta or swiss) or no cheese. Stack the burger with pickles and onions if you choose. Mustard and ketchup are also available. That's it for toppings. Burgers are thick, hand formed and cooked to order.

Sandwiches: Grilled chicken, tuna, ham, corned beef and grilled cheese are available for those who do not partake in burgerlicious activities. But I can't comment on any of these items, since I–like most visitors to Miller's–could never order anything but a burger.

Sides: Classic burger companions french fries and onion rings are quality options. Baked beans are also offered, but when they're gone, they're gone.

Signature Dish: Burgers, of course.

Miller's works on the honor system. Waitresses take your order and you pay at the bar by telling them what you had.

Address: 23700 Michigan Ave.

Cost: $
