Arab American News Founder Condemns U.S. Military Intervention in Syria
Syrian-Americans are worried about family members living overseas if the United States launches airstrikes against President Bashar al-Assad.
Osama Siblani, editor and publisher of the Arab American News, was one of several keynote speakers during a rally against U.S. intervention in Syria on Thursday.
The rally was organized by Syrian American Forum and the Michigan Emergency Committee Against War & Injustice (MECAWI), based in Detroit.
Protestors say military action in Syria is unjustified and will lead to the deaths of hundreds of innocent civilians.
