Adoptable Pet of the Week: Khaleesi

Khaleesi is a beautiful 1-year-old white pit bull terrier mix with tan patches and silly ears that stick out to the sides in a constantly playful look. She came to the shelter as a stray, and would benefit from a home that could provide her with a lot of attention. She does not particularly like cats and will do best as her home's only dog (she tends to guard her toys from other dogs).

Still, she did very well in her behavioral assessment with the shelter's dog trainer and is ready to go home with any family who will give her the love and attention she deserves. Come meet sweet Khaleesi -- if you don't see her, ask for her by name.

Right now thru the end of December, dogs in the care of the Shelter for 31 days or longer (like Khaleesi) are only $50 to adopt and come with a voucher for $50 toward their first veterinary visit.  

All adoption fees include sterilization, microchip and age appropriate vaccinations.
