While the Dearborn Animal Shelter is always open to visitors looking to adopt a new furry family member, they also host off-site adoption events aimed at presenting adoptable animals in a new location.
Friends for the Dearborn Animal Shelter will be hosting an adoption event on Saturday, Feb. 23, from 12-3 p.m. at the Friends Training Center attached to Pet Supplies "Plus" in Dearborn.
The center is located at 2621 S. Telegraph Road.
Visitors can meet animals, learn about training and events hosted by the shelter, and get information on donating and volunteering.
Plus, Pet Supplies "Plus" is offering $5 worth of free product from their store with any proof of adoption from the Dearborn Animal Shelter within the last 30 days.
Those interested in adopting can also visit adoptables at the shelter during normal business hours, or online at any time.
