This holiday season, local favorite, Olga’s Kitchen is partnering with Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation to spread cheer to hospitalized children and their siblings at DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan, through their annual SNOWPILE program. SNOWPILE allows parents of children who are in the hospital on a special, secret day to “shop” for their young patients and present them with cheerful gifts.
This year, Olga’s is supporting the SNOWPILE program at Children’s Hospital and is inviting the community to come together to provide joy to deserving children and families. Now, through December 15, 2013, Olga’s Kitchen is asking everyone to bring new, unwrapped toys, books, games and stuffed animals to any Michigan restaurant, as well as, the Toledo location.
"Olga’s was built on family tradition across generations, so we know how important it is for family members to support one another, especially during the holidays,” said Olga’s Kitchen CEO Jonathan Fox. “We are committed to giving back to our communities and are eager to join our guests in the support of families and children through the Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation.”
Olga’s partners with the Foundation on other initiatives throughout the year; this is an opportunity for everyone to contribute to brightening the faces of young people who need a smile, especially during this season of merriment and giving.
