Mardi Gras – Games, Prizes, and Fun…Oh My!

On Tuesday, March 4, the 8th grade class of Sacred Heart hosted a Mardi Gras celebration in the gymnasium for the entire school.  Students tested their skills in fun, carnival-style games, such as Minute to Win It, Balloon Pop, and Plinko.  .  The prize for winning a game is a token that can be exchanged for a ticket students could put into a tin can raffle.  This year, some of the prizes were posters, a giant stuffed panda, games, and gift cards for Taco Bell, Buffalo Wild Wings, and ITunes.  This popular, annual event is a fundraiser for the Infant Jesus Charitable Foundation.  This year, the 8th graders raised $375 for the charity, and a fun time was had by all.  Everyone was a winner at this year’s Mardi Gras celebration!
